Leadership

Patrick Parker, Founder and CEO

Patrick holds an MBA from the Ohio State University as well as an MS in Biology from Pennsylvania State University, and a BS in Zoology at Ohio University. Patrick led a technology consulting organization for 5 years prior to founding The Dot Net Factory in June of 2004. Patrick had led consulting and software development teams in the development of innovative SharePoint web parts to securely delegate network access which would evolve into the analysis of client requirements for enterprise security. This work led him to the study of role management and the lack of a truly effective implementation of Role Based Access Control. Patrick's response to this urgent market need was to assemble the development team that produced EmpowerID, an innovative approach to Identity Management for heterogeneous networks.
