EmpowerID Identity Management and Workflow Platform Selected By Leading Insurance Industry Software Provider

DUBLIN, OH – June 15, 2010

A leading provider of software and services to the insurance industry has chosen EmpowerID from The Dot Net Factory as a central component in their Identity Management infrastructure after an extensive search among competing vendors. Key selection criteria included the cost and time needed to implement a solution that was standards-based and fully extensible. After performing a competitive proof-of-concept, the organization determined that EmpowerID offered the best fit for their needs with its shortest time to implement, rapid visual workflow development, and for being a solution built on the Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation and Microsoft Windows Identity Foundation.

This organization's goal was to simplify their client experience through the adoption of a robust Identity Management platform that could federate claims-aware applications, provide a vault for credentials, provision users, and streamline password management in a complex multi-vendor cloud environment.
